Southern California Community Benefit Report is Now Available
Our new Making Lives Better report highlights Kaiser Permanente’s 2014 community investments throughout Southern California.
Kaiser Permanente is committed to creating healthy communities, and one of the ways we achieve this is through the grants we give to our community partners. Our annual Making Lives Better report illustrates the many ways in which we are working to improve the health of the health of all people.
The report includes funding data, fast facts, and many examples of how we are working together with our partners to positively improve community health. Our investments are focused on changing and improving our community environments and creating programs that provide access to high-quality, affordable health care, healthier foods, and safe, open spaces that promote more physical activity.
The new report also contains an interactive feature to showcase the Community Benefit video series we recently produced. If you expand each of the three boxes in the grid, you will see new videos covering Healthy People, Healthy Environments, and Sharing Knowledge.
We hope you will find the report to be a valuable tool to keep you informed, and encourage you to share it broadly. By working together, we can make a difference in promoting thriving communities that produce healthier, happier, more productive people.
