Kaiser Permanente Educational Theatre Conflict Management Program, “It’s Stop Time!”

Posted on

Kaiser Permanente Southern California Educational Theatre (ET) is celebrating 30 years of serving our communities through performance-based programs that inspire children, teens, and adults to make informed health decisions. To commemorate this milestone, ET launched a new conflict management program consisting of a play, a student workshop, and a presentation for parents and guardians.  The program teaches third through fifth graders three steps for managing conflict: “Stop, Breathe, Choose.” Press play above to watch a video that tells you more about this latest program.

Educational Theatre is one of Kaiser Permanente’s Community Benefit programs. In addition to conflict management, ET also addresses four other upstream determinants that impact good health: bullying, literacy, STD prevention, and healthy eating active living.

Since 1986, ET has reached over 6.7 million people with over 25,000 performances and workshops.
