Ready, Set, Move! Fire Up Your Feet Rewards Active Families and Schools

Spring 2016 Fire Up Your Feet Challenge Begins April 11

Posted on

This spring, K-8 schools can win cash awards to support physical activity and health programs by taking part in the Fire Up Your Feet Activity Challenge. Running April 11 through May 6, the challenge rewards schools for logging physical activity that students, families, and school staff complete before, during and after school.

Parents, guardians and school staff can sign up for the free program at www.fireupyourfeet.org. Then, during the activity challenge, participants log their physical activity using the easy online activity tracker. Awards are based on the percentage of participation at your school, so the more people who sign up and track, the better your chances of earning awards!

Challenge awards help to support walking school bus or bike train programs, the purchase of bike racks, incentives for walking and biking, traffic safety measures, and much more.
