Department of Research & Evaluation

The work of Kaiser Permanente’s renowned Department of Research & Evaluation high-quality epidemiologic, behavioral, clinical, and health services research that helps improve care and the health and well-being of Kaiser Permanente members in Southern California—and the communities we serve. The program’s 30 scientists and more than 330 staff conduct or support more than 1,300 active projects per year and publish more than 400 studies of regional and/or national significance.
